Family sponsorship enables you to sponsor some family members or relatives if you become a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada. The only stipulation is you should be 18 years and old and can provide for their needs upon arriving in Canada.
The people you can sponsor are:
Spouse, common-law partner, or conjugal partner
Dependent child: must be 21 years old or younger
Parents and Grandparents
Orphaned Relatives
Other relative
